Eponine and Azelma Thenardier/Jondrette/whatever other last names they used from Victor Hugo's Les Misérables

YOU GUYS THERE IS NOT ENOUGH AZELMA LOVE IN THE FANART WORLD. I DEMAND YOU GO DRAW HER RIGHT NOW. Also draw the other characters that never made it to the musical. They are entirely too unloved!

OKAY so I'm really happy with this. I tried my best to be canon and I think I did a pretty good job! Azelma even has a hand wound from when she punched the window.

I used a stock photo for the background because I'm LAZY and it is THREE AM and I have to wake up in TWO HOURS. YAAAAAAY.

Oh, the Thenardier sisters! You're right, there is not nearly enough Zelma art. And she looks wonderful here, at least in the sense of accuracy to character and text (I don't wish that amount of poverty and malnutrition on anyone). They both do- Ponine's knees are just as "sharp" as Hugo says. And the red hands! And the bony quality of both sisters' bodies! Oh, it's exquisite, excellent, magnificent.

Yeah, I hate how they just deemed important characters unimportant. Like Combeferre! They cut him too and gave his part to Marius and Grantaire! Combeferre was suppossed to be second in command...
